Hello, my name is Harrison Brown, and I am a freshman at Furman University. I am from Birmingham, Alabama, and am a Mathematics-Economics major at Furman. I chose to do this May X because of my interest in math and potential insight I could gain into what its like to work a job in mathematics. I also chose this May X because of past experiences at Disney with family and an overall fondness for the parks in Orlando. I am excited to meet with people behind the operations at Disney World and see a lot of the behind the scenes activities of the parks. The thing I am most looking forward to is visiting Animal Kingdom, as it is the one park I have never visited during my family trips to Disney World in the past. Overall, I am very eager to spend a month at the parks playing and riding the rides, but I am also equally as excited for the more educational and insightful parts of this May X, and am thankful that Furman provides us with these great opportunities.
