Annmarie Henderson

Hi, my name is Annmarie Henderson and I just finished my freshman year at Furman as a Chemistry and Applied Math double major. I am from Tuscaloosa, Alabama and am super excited for this new experience!

I have never been to Disney World before and I am looking forward to visiting for the first time! Nevertheless, I have been to Disneyland in both California and Shanghai so I am curious to see how they compare. I am a big fan of rollercoasters and have always loved watching Disney movies. I am really looking forward to trying fun foods, riding all the rides, and learning more math. 

I am not only excited to visit a new place, but I am also excited to explore a potential career option. I have always found math fun and am anxious to learn more about data analytics and operations research. Not many people have opportunities to gain first hand experience at this stage in their careers so I am super grateful to Furman that I can do so. I am eager to find out why people call Disney World the happiest place on Earth!
